The University of Washington’s Center for Information Assurance and Cyber Security (CIAC) participated in The Great Conversation in Seattle in March 2019. Dr. Barbara Endicott-Popovsky, Executive Director and Professor, exposed the talent gap in our current physical security and cyber security workforce on the fundamentals of information assurance.
It generated many questions from the 250+ attendees and was one of the most popular conversations at the forum.
Barbara and her team then approached The Sage Group, the producers of The Great Conversation, to sponsor the next 2020 Seattle forum at the University of Washington campus and become an academic partner.
