Greylake Training Solutions

Through the Greylake Academy, we’ve developed a learning program for security professionals about how implicit bias impacts our decisions and actions in security operations. These skills can reduce incidents that can lead to physical, psychological, legal, and reputational damage. These critical skills help security professionals practice self-introspection, explore decision-making models, and investigate the reason for and effects of implicit bias on ourselves, the security industry, and society.  The lessons utilize social-emotional learning tactics to build empathy, self-awareness, and cultural competencies. Greylake is expanding the curriculum for security professionals with offerings on conflict resolution, including de-escalation, crisis communications, and critical incident response tactics. Next in the curriculum,  a course on using behavioral threat detection skills to determine who is a threat based on universal human behaviors rather than a person’s outward appearance.  We also offer coaching and consulting to security leaders who are interested in enhancing emotional intelligence skills within their business units.
